CECT Contrast-enhanced CT Pulmonary Angiography (CTPA) – Axial section [a] [b]. A filling defect is noted in the right pulmonary artery extending into its segmental branches. The main pulmonary artery appears slightly dilated, distal to the affected pulmonary artery, patchy consolidation and ground-glass opacities are observed in the right lower lobe, suggesting pulmonary infarction due to compromised blood flow ★. Represents pulmonary infarction, and ➡ representing filling defect.
